The Photographer’s Method

Stop guessing every time you pick up your camera.

A five decision system that tells you what to decide before you press the shutter.

Photography isn't inconsistent because you need more knowledge.

It's inconsistent because you make decisions in the wrong order.

The Photographer's Method fixes that.

£29

Most photographers don't have a camera problem.

They have a decision problem.

One photo looks incredible.

The next one doesn't.

They change lenses.

Buy presets.

Watch another YouTube video.

Try another editing style.

But nothing changes because the real problem happened before the shutter was pressed.

The Photographer's Method gives you a repeatable way of thinking so every decision becomes easier.

No more guessing.

No more hoping.

No more relying on luck.

Every photograph becomes easier when you answer these five questions in order.

The Five Decisions

1. Subject

What is this photo actually about?

Before anything else, decide the single subject or idea you want the viewer to notice.

2. Light

What light best supports that subject?

Read the direction, quality and colour of the light and decide how to use it instead of simply accepting what's there.

3. Composition

How should the subject be arranged in the frame?

Decide what stays in, what gets removed, your perspective, focal length and framing.

4. Settings

What camera settings support the decisions you've already made?

Aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focus mode and white balance become logical because the creative decisions came first.

5. Edit Intention

How should the finished image feel?

Decide the mood before you shoot so editing becomes execution rather than experimentation.

Everything inside The Photographer's Method exists to help you apply these five decisions consistently.

The Five Decisions In Action

Every photograph below was created using the same five decisions.

The edit did not create the image.

It refined decisions that were already made before the shutter was pressed.

That's the difference between guessing and having a repeatable process.
